How much does it cost?

Gumband runs on a credit system, which means that you purchase the number of outgoing messages you need, and your message credits are subtracted as you use them. Message credits do not expire, so you'll never lose any message credits at the end of the month- they'll always carry over. If you run out of credits, you can buy more at any time. Two free keywords are included with all message levels; each additional keyword costs a one-time fee of $5. Keywords can be purchased at any time. View more information about pricing.

Where does Gumband work?

Currently, Gumband keywords will only work in the U.S. We're working on expanding into other countries.

Do I have to have to write code?

Pretty much. Gumband delivers SMS messages to a URL endpoint that you define. Your endpoint can be written in any language that you would like. If you want an easy way to manage sending and receiving SMS messages with no code, check out TinyBlast.

Can I get my own short code?

You can use Gumband to develop your SMS application quickly and easily. When the time comes for you to get your own short code, you can use everything you've developed here and easily transition it to your new short code. We can even help with the certification process.
